Wonder Woman's first trip to man's world during World War I was certainly eventful, as not only did she kill General Erich Ludendorff, but she also defeated Ares, the God of War. In the present day, we've seen Diana of Themyscira also battle Doomsday and Steppenwolf, but with Wonder Woman 2 reportedly being set in the 1980s, the sequel will show us one of her other extraordinary adventures before she started teaming up with other superheroes. If a new report is to be believed, that adventure will see Diana tangling with Barbara Ann Minerva, a.k.a. Cheetah.
Cheetah is one of the most famous members of Wonder Woman's rogues gallery, so it's not surprising to hear that supposedly she will be "somewhere in the mix" in Wonder Woman 2. There isn't any information on who is currently being eyed to play the feline antagonist, though apparently Emma Stone was approached for the role, but she passed on it. Assuming this information is legitimate, with Wonder Woman 2 expected to begin filming later this year, presumably we'll find out within the next couple months which actress will bring the character to life in live action.
Although Barbara Ann Minerva is the third woman to inherit the Cheetah mantle in DC Comics' history, as a result of the New 52 reboot, she's the only Cheetah that's existed within the current DC universe. In the DC Rebirth version of her origin, Barbara became Cheetah when she was cursed by the god known as Urzkartaga, turning her into a humanoid cat creature whose powers include superhuman strength, speed and senses. Outside of the comics, the Barbara Ann Minerva version of Cheetah as appeared in the Justice League animated series, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Justice League Action, Batman/Superman: Public Enemies, Justice League: Doom and Injustice 2, to name a few projects.
Along with reporting about Cheetah's potential involvement, That Hashtag Show mentioned that Chris Pine, Sad Taghmaoui and Ewen Bremner are reprising Steve Trevor, Sameer and Charle, respectively, in Wonder Woman 2. While this isn't the first time we've heard that Pine's Trevor might be back, it's still puzzling considering that he sacrificed himself in Wonder Woman to destroy the plan carrying Doctor Poison's gas. As for Sameer and Charlie, while they were seen with Gal Gadot's Diana, Eugene Brave Rock's Chief and Lucy Davis' Etta Candy celebrating the end of World War I in Wonder Woman's final minutes, they'd have died of old age by the time the 1980s came around. It's certainly possible that they've all been somehow resurrected, but for right now, my money is on the men appearing in dreams or hallucinations.

I really want to give kudos to the producers of this movie for casting comedic actor Zachary Levi as Captain Marvel, rather than casting your typical action movie star.
